	. . . and if your wallet is still a little light after patronizing the local filling station, but you simply must have something with the Ducati name on it, and a T-shirt just won't cut it, put one of these in your pocket. When you show up at the local watering hole, you can whip it out and nonchalantly imply that the new Desmosedici RR is safe at home in the garage. After all - wouldn't want to get road tar on that pricey bodywork now would we?

		From Ducati's recently-introduced Desmoblog, comes the announcement of the Ducati Hypermotard concept show bike as a 2007 production model!

						I'm especially interested in the fact that both bikes have a much flatter seat than the typical modern sportbike with it's humped-style tank. Hump-style tanks look neat and racy and all that, but they also force you to sit at the back of the bike, making it impossible for smaller riders to reach the handlebars. I won't be sure without actually sitting on them, but it looks like I won't have to straight-arm the bars on either of them.The only little quibbles I've got with either of them is the seat height (yea, I'm short), and the fact that both bikes have tiny little 1.7 gallon gas tanks.
